Grace, Faith and Love
For by grace you have been saved through faith, and this is not your own doing; it is the gift God.
Ephesians 2:8
Grace is the sun that gives light to the moon.
Faith is the moon that receives the light from the sun.
Love is the brightness received from sun and moon.
Grace is the beautiful lotus in the pond.
Faith is the bee that visits the lotus.
Love is the honey collected from the lotus.
Grace is the skillful hands that play the veena.
Faith is the strings of that music instrument.
Love is the music that brings us fellowship.
Grace is the merciful giving hands of God.
Faith is the receiving hands of the soul.
Love is the sharing what one has received from God.
Grace is the way paved by Jesus.
Faith is the legs that dread on the way.
Love is the happiness of meeting the fellow-walkers on the road.
Grace is the rain that pours from heaven.
Faith is the tank that receives and stores that water.
Love is the joy of the rice-fields that drank that water.
Grace is mother who feeds the baby.
Faith is the baby that shouts aloud, when the mother is away.
Love is the relationship between the mother and the baby.
Dear Lord,
some people are proud of the strong faith in you.
I am thankful for your amazing grace.
