"The Fallen Nature

(Romans 8)

I wanted to see God in the sun.

But when the sun was set, there was only darkness.

I wanted to see God in the sky.

But I could not stand against the lightning and gale.

I ran away to the shelter.

I wanted to see God in the ocean.

But when I saw its depth and vastness it was beyond my understanding.

I wanted to see God in the jungle.

But when I saw the ferocious tiger killing the deer, 

I was confused.

I wanted to see God in the human beings.

But when I saw their selfishness, 

I abandoned the plan.

Lord Jesus,

the nature reveals the might of the Creator God.

But you only reveal the heart of God.

I love you. Amen."
