First preference to the less privileged.

Abraham who was more powerful than Lot gives the first choice to Lot.

Abraham becomes a great model in conflict resolution.

This is a great model for our community, institutions and church to resolve conflicts.

2) ACTS 6:1-6

The Early Church Model

Taking sincere initiative to take care of the less cared for.

Gentile widows were less cared for.

There was a real complaint.

The church took the complaint seriously and appointed appropriate people to take care of the situation.

This is also a great model for our community, institutions and church.

3) MAT 20:1-16

The Jesus Model

Peace with Equality.

The late comers were denied of participation from morning and it was not their fault.

The problem of unemployment.

Equality brings murmuring.

No peace without equality in India.

Social justice brings murmuring from the right wing groups.

God's grace is equal to everyone, especially to the less privileged.

There is a great model for our church and society especially to our nation in the caste-ridden context.

Conc.

Negotiation becomes a mandate in all the above mentioned resolutions.

Let the Holy Spirit of God help in this process of conflict resolutions.
