The divine word

"The Divine Word

In  the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God,and the Word was God.

John 1:1

The Word existed from the very beginning.

The Word will exist till the very end.

But no one can tell, when was the beginning and when will be the end.

It is just like the circumference of a circle that has no beginning and no end.

The Word was divine.

The Word was human 

so that the whole humanity become divine.

It is just like the ugly larva becomes a beautiful butterfly.

The Word as Spirit was with God.

The Word as flesh was with the people.

The Word as Jesus is with both, God and people, 

just as the bridge that touches both sides.

This Word is like the word of a judge,

who tells the prisoner:

" I forgive you and set you free."

The Word is like the word of a physician: 

" Your deadly disease is fully cured and you can go home happily."

This Word is like the word of a kind person:

"You need not to starve here. Come and live with me.

I have enough to spare for you."

Lord, give me the grace that I keep closer to the Word forever.

Amen."
