"The Invitation
Come to me, all you that are weary and are carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.
Matthew 11:28
Sinners you are invited.
This is not for those who think themselves as 'holy' and the self- righteous ones (Prov.30:12).
Believers of all religions and of non-religions you are invited.
No religion but Jesus can save you.
O poor, you are invited.
Throw your infirmity complex far away.
O rich, you are invited.
With your wealth on your back, you cannot enter the narrow gate.
Share it with others.
O wise men, you are invited.
There will be surprises that are beyond your wisdom.
People of every colour, you are invited.
There is no apartheid.
Jesus,
You invite us to a new style of life.
You offer us understanding for the new style of life.
You offer us your body and blood to strengthen us for that.
We thank you for this invitation.
Amen."
