Closest one
It was a bank interview; nearly 194 members came for
a single job. One guy was much tensed,
at that time his name was called to come inside. Interviewer was the manager of
that bank. He asked him a simple question, “7 multiplied by 3 is what?” The guy replied immediately 23 without
thinking anything. After coming out he
realized that 7 multiplied by 3 is 21. He felt very sorry for that he can’t
able to answer this simple question correctly.
But two weeks later, he surprisingly received a call
letter from that bank stating that he was selected for that job. He didn’t say
anything to his manager about his answer at the time he joined.
Days passed, he became permanent for that job. Now
he went to manager and said “Sir, that day at interview I gave a wrong answer,
but the right answer is 21.” For that manager replied “Yes I know its 21, but
out of all 194 answers your answer was the closest one to the correct answer!”
