DEATH ANNIVERSARY

Reference: Revelation 7:9-17

The life that we live in the earth is not permanent.

The life that we are going to live with God is always permanent.

In order to live with god, we need to pass through Death.

According to Christian faith, death is not an end to our life; instead it is the beginning of a new life with god.

Apostle Paul says, “For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain” (Philippians 1:21)

We shall meditate on three things about death. Death is the

·         Entry into Rejoice full life

·         Entry into Relieved Life

·         Entry into Rewarded life

Ø  ENTRY INTO

REJOICEFUL LIFE:   Rev 7:9-12

Being with Jesus is rejoice full life.

People who died are praising and rejoicing God in heaven.

They don’t worry about anything.

Ø  ENTRY INTO

RELEIVED LIFE:        Rev 7:14-16

Relieved from great tribulations and sins.

Relieved from Earthly Sufferings.

Ø  ENTRY INTO

REWARDED LIFE:    2 Tim 4:7

Jesus rewards the people who have done good deeds and who have led a pleasing life before him.

Jesus rewards them with “THE CROWN OF RIGHTEOUSNESS”

Ø  CONCLUSION:

They have gone to a much better place.

They are with god and we all will see them face to face in the second coming of our lord Jesus.
