Rogate - Pray
The fifth Sunday after Easter is called Rogate _ Pray. I share with you a small meditation of Bishop Johnson.
What is prayer?
Prayer is eyes looking at God's mercy.
Prayer is hands stretching forth to receive grace.
Prayer is feet standing firm on the rock of faith.
Prayer is tongue expressing the desires of God.
Prayer is the feelings of the heart coming most nearest to God.
Prayer is ears hearing what God talks in silence.
Prayer is surrender the whole person to the feet of the Triune God.
Lord, help me to pray.
